DURHAM — There was no better healing than through music as Marcus Anderson played Prince’s famous “Diamonds and Pearls” in remembrance of the late artist at a Durham Jazz Brunch on Saturday.

As difficult as this may be on fans, Prince’s death has been tough on Anderson.

Traveling for most of this past week, Anderson hasn’t had much of a chance to grieve the loss of his friend.

However, to see him on stage, one would never guess that Anderson has lost so much.

He shared how the two men enjoyed riding bicycles, enjoying life as they rode.
